I started my career as a graphic designer by attending East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I have always been interested in art and design. Growing up in Pennsylvania, I spent as much time as I could drawing and emercing myself in arts and crafts. Once attending college, I learned more about the graphic design field and fell in love with typography and the challenge of design.
When I'm not admiring the genius behind a well executed ad campaign or another designer's perfect choice in a serif font, I enjoy hitting golf balls at the driving range, participating in Pilates and Zumba classes and taking my basset hound on walks.
I love sharing creative ideas with fellow designers and staying up to date with current design trends through AIGA. I'm currently an Art Director at Stock Building Supply, one of the leading distributors of building materials to professional builders. Additionally, I have freelanced for such companies as Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, Friendly House of Davenport, Iowa, Lifes2good, Inc., The Mariposa School for Children with Autism, Creative Consultants, LLC, CapriFlavors, and The North Carolina Literary Review.
